Think for a moment on where you feel pain in your body. Do you have frequent headaches? Is an old injury limiting the range of motion in your shoulders, arms or legs? Do your hands hurt? Worn out at day’s end from anxiety or depression?

Now, imagine waking up next week and realizing as you get out of bed that the pain has simply vanished. Imagine going a whole week without even thinking about taking aspirin or pain relievers you have been living with. In addition, imagine diving back into the current of life that means something to you – playing with your grandchildren … jogging again … staying sober… even being able to have a baby.

This is what acupuncture and traditional oriental medicine does for a billion of people – people just like you – each and every year!

Before YoungJoon(Young) moved to Canada in 1999 from South Korea, he was practicing traditional oriental medicine including Shiatsu massage and acupuncture. He had met several mentors and friends in Korea who influenced him. Young’s techniques and skills originate from these Korean teachers. He also had chance to learn more theory in class through Korean Modern Acupuncture Research Society for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. He also received a Bachelor degree in Economics and was working as a businessman and organizing industrial trade fairs in Korea.

Since he came to Canada in 1999, he became a full time practitioner in the Healthcare field and has been continuing his lifelong learning. Once in Canada in order to adhere the rules and regulations for licensing, he decided to attend ACATCM: Alberta College of Acupuncture & Traditional Chinese Medicine(AB) and Wellspring College of Massage Therapy(ON) .

He integrates all his techniques, knowledge, skills and experiences to help his clients attain holistic wellness and integration of the body, mind, spirit and emotions. With his natural intuitive skills, he tailors each session to the changing needs of the client, offering safe, nurturing, respectful touch and considers the needs of the heart and soul, as well as the physical body.

Women Disorders
One of most rewarding areas of acupuncture and traditional oriental medicine practice is to help women for infertility, endometriosis, menstrual disorders, PMS, and menopausal syndromes.

Acute and Chronic Pain Management
Acupuncture treatments are effective pain management for back pain, neck and shoulder pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, headaches and migraines.

Facial Rejuvenation, Addiction & Other Areas
In addition, wellness care such as addiction and facial rejuvenation naturally can be provided. Whatever your concern, Young will gladly listen and discuss treatment options in a private discussion. There are many other conditions acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine treat. Examples include but are not limited to gastro-intestinal disorders, depression, stress disorder, anxiety, joint pain, allergies and sinusitis, hypertension and Stroke rehabilitation.
